OPTION 1: Private Corporate Event
“Day-in-the-Life of a Nonprofit Urban Farm”
An enriching day of farm-based activities where your team will get to experience a day in the life of an urban nonprofit farm.
Length of day
With lunch provided: 5 hours from 9:30am - 2:30pm
Without lunch provided: 3.5 hours from 9:30am - 1pm
Activities
Option 1: An enriching day of farm-based activities where your team will get to experience a day in the life of an urban nonprofit farm. The volunteers are placed into smaller groups of 5-10 people and rotate through a range of activities, which can include composting, planting/seeding, preparing garden beds, and other projects on the Farm.
Option 2: A hybrid of volunteering (as described above) combined with mindfulness-based activities depending on the interests of your group. We can include a rotation of adaptive yoga, meditation and/or take-home art projects, as well as farm-based activities.

Every attendee receives a 4” GrowGood seedling in a terracotta planter
Cost With Lunch
Donation of $75/pp which covers our costs for staff time, supplies, and helps us to better serve the Bell Shelter residents
Lunch featuring GrowGood seasonal greens and seasonal sandwiches
Cost Without Lunch
Donation of $55/pp
Minimum of 10 people; maximum of 40 people

What’s Included
All participants in the workshops will receive 3-vegetable seedlings and a small a bag of GrowGood soil
Cost: $35pp (minimum of 10 people; maximum of 25)
Lunch: We can include it for an additional per person fee of $20 (catered by GrowGood Catering) or it can be "bring your own"
Option 3: Community Volunteer Event
If you have a smaller group and/or a limited budget, you can join an upcoming community volunteer event, which we hold three times per month (2 Wednesdays and 1 Saturday). You can find the dates here.
We can hold up to 10 spots for your group for one of the dates. These public events are from 9:30am - 11:30am, and focus on farm activities such as weeding, seeding, planting.
Cost: To reserve spots for your group, we ask for a $100 for up to 10 spots. Your group will receive a special registration link for your confirmed date of volunteering.
